Can we clear customs after 5pm or on weekdays?
YES, the airport is a port of entry with custom open from 8:00 to 20:00 local time 365 days.
Procedure
The pilot has to report the estimated time of arrival (ETA) by calling 1-888-226-7277 at least two hours, but no more than 48 hours, before flying into Canada. If the 1-888 service is not available, the pilot can use the normal business numbers for the TRC. However, long-distance charges may apply.
Upon landing, the unicom operator will inform pilots if custom officers are present on site. If not, declaration of entry must be made on the phone before unboarding the aircraft.
Customs
As an official Canadian port of entry, Mont-Tremblant International accommodates international arrivals through CANPASS. All inbound international flights must register in advance, and a $195 CAD customs recovery fee applies per arrival.
Firearms
Travelling with firearms will automatically trigger a visit from customs officers.
