The Gist
Mont-Tremblant International Airport (CYFJ / YTM) is a certified Class C aerodrome. All aircraft operations require prior permission (PPR), with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Runway
The airport features a 5,902 ft × 150 ft paved asphalt runway, maintained to commercial standards. Airfield lighting includes halogen edge lights, PAPI approach lights, and REIL strobe systems, ensuring safe operations in both day and night conditions.
Customs
As an official Canadian port of entry, Mont-Tremblant International accommodates international arrivals through CANPASS. All inbound international flights must register in advance, and a $195 CAD customs recovery fee applies per arrival.
Winter Operations
The airport is fully equipped for year-round operations. In winter, the runway is cleared back to bare and dry following each snowfall. De-icing and anti-icing services are available for all aircraft types, with a minimum service fee of $400 CAD.
